What is the iSTEM study?

The goal of the iSTEM study is to learn how students' high school experiences influence their future education and career choices. The study is particularly focused on students' experiences with science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) during high school and how they impact student decisions about their future. The project is partnering with STEM and non-STEM high schools in North Carolina, Texas and Ohio.

Is your school interested in participating in the iSTEM study?

Participating schools make a valuable contribution to the country’s understanding of how STEM education in high school influences the post-secondary outlook for students traditionally underrepresented in higher education and in STEM majors and careers. All participating STEM and non-STEM schools will receive the aggregate survey results of their students regarding STEM attitudes, interests and experiences, as well as the larger study findings to help inform their curricular programming. For more information please contact an iSTEM study team member.
